The easiest skirt/shirt ever

This is the square skirt off of MADE and it is easy and adorable.  Find out how big the hole is for the waist.  You take how big the waist is + 2 inand divide it by 6.28 and that is the circumference.  So for Kenney she was 17in + 2 divide by 6.28= 3in.  then I measured how long I wanted it from her waist down.  I did 5 in.  This is my patteren.

Then I fold my fabric in half and then in half again and then place my pattern on the folded corner.
Cut out and there is your hole for the waist.  Attach some elastic and there you have it.  When it gets to short put leggings with it.

Then with the shirt you cut flowers, get some wonder under from Joann's, iron it on and then sew on the edges.  Because it is knit it does not need any sewing on the edging.

  1. LOVE IT! I tried making one after we talked about it and cut it into a circle skirt instead of leaving the edges square...duh! I'll have to try again soon.
